About The Department

Master of Business Administration

The Department of Management studies (DoMS) has been functioning since 2000 and at present the Department intake is 120 students under the permanent affiliation of Anna University, Approved by AICTE and the government of Tamilnadu. The department interface students with a rural background to the competitive world and infuse them with sufficient knowledge to take on any business challenges. The department focuses on innovation, Execution and social responsibility towards our getting students industry ready. Our pedagogy inculcates the attributes of design thinking and innovation that drives entrepreneurial spirit, we also provide hands on real life projects to learn organizational realities. we nurture quality education to the students by arranging workshops, seminars, conferences, guest lectures, Industrial Visit and Training & Development programs frequently throughout the year.

The department offers various specializations like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Systems for the benefits of the students. The department has Students Association and clubs for excellence like Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Marketing club, HR club, and Finance club. The department is facilitated with qualified faculties having rich teaching, research and industrial experience, The department has produced more than 1800 alumnus who are seen in very good position in various organizations of National and International reputation. Many have started their own business. The department has been achieving very high percentage of results from its inception. We are glad to note that we have produced many university rank holders. We have inspirational academic environment, installed projectors in all class rooms. We are well staked with advanced packages and e- journals.. It ensures the holistic development of its students, thereby making them intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually balanced human beings.
